    Choc Matzoh poor quality

I have been familiar with Li-Lac since my childhood, when my mother worked on Christopher Street. I had never seen the Choc Cov Matzoh before, so I decided to send it as a Passover gift to a friend who is a chef. I was concerned that they might arrive broken, but I was told they were intact.

However, my friend and his wife described that, as soon as they touched the product, the chocolate broke up and slid right off the matzoh. All pieces in the package experienced this defect. The chef-friend was puzzled, he thought the holes in the matzoh would help the chocolate adhere. But it did not.

So sending this product as a Passover gift was a dud. What they described was a far cry from the image of the Choc Covrd Matzoh in your product catalog, with the neatly stacked pieces covered in chocolate.

    Tradition

What a wonderful treat for my brother who loves a yearly box of these matzoh. All delivered quickly and without concern. I'm glad Li-Lac is still making these!
