How do you keep the chocolates from melting during shipping?
A Cold Pack will provide up to 48 hours of temperature control during transit. If the temperature is above 75 degrees at your recipient's destination, please add a Cold Pack to your order. For destinations outside the New York tri-state area, please select an Express shipping option as well. This is necessary as Cold Packs only provide 48 hours of cold power. When the temperature is unusually hot, (i.e. above 90 degrees), we may have to hold your order until the weather cools down.
What is your return policy?
We guarantee you will be completely satisfied with your purchase of Li-Lac Chocolates. Your order is guaranteed to arrive in perfect condition at the shipping address provided, and if you are not completely satisfied with the quality or freshness of any item, please contact us within (5) days of receiving your order and we will replace it free of charge. Can you deliver same day in New York City?
If you are looking to have chocolate delivered the same-day in New York City, you can order from one of our delivery partners for fast, reliable service. We partner with several professional delivery services including Uber Eats, Mercato, DoorDash, and shopIN.nyc. To place an order for same-day delivery, please order directly through one of these partner sites. Someone must be available to receive the delivery when it arrives, otherwise your package will be returned, and a re-delivery fee will apply.

I find that when I get Jelly Belly’s at Walgreens or CVS I get way too many “questionable “ flavors. Coffee? Garbage, black licorice? More garbage. This bag that I got from li-lac had much better flavors overall. I didn’t love the cinnamon flavor. I think that’s too pungent for a jelly bean this size, but overall very solid flavor choices.

Every year we look forward to Li-Lac jelly beans. They've been a favorite in our household. Until this year. I purchased 4 bags of jelly beans at the GCT store. They looked odd, darker colors than the usual spring mix, more opaque. And there were very strange flavors for an easter mix. Alas, soon the problem became clear. I guess the jelly beans are no longer "hand made in Brooklyn." We've been going to LiLac's for chocolate since I was a kid in the 70s (on Christopher Street). This is beyond disappointing.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! I apologize for the late response. While all of our chocolate confections are handmade in Brooklyn, we do offer some other seasonal items that we source from other small businesses. The jelly beans that we usually carry come from a company in PA that also started in 1923 - Just Born. Unfortunately this year they didn't produce in bulk so we weren't able to have them. We were just as disappointed as you, they're delicious. We're very hopeful that we can get them again next Easter.
