We offer year-round shipping and work hard to ensure your chocolates are delivered fresh and in good condition. FedEx Ground and Express shipping options are available to most destinations in the United States and Canada, although in summer we only offer Express options to certain destinations. You will receive an email with a tracking number when your package ships so you can follow your order and confirm its delivery.
If you need to make a correction, adjustment or cancel an order after you place it online, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org within 2 hours of placing your order and we will make the change.
Please note: all delivery times are estimates regardless of the service you choose. Please take this into consideration when ordering ahead of an event and allow for extra time in transit in case of a delay. We are unable to offer refunds for packages that are delayed in transit.
We ship exclusively with FedEx in the United States and Canada. Most orders ship within 24 hours unless a future ship date is requested. During holidays it may take a few extra days to get your order ready. Your chocolates could be in transit for up to 7 business days, depending on the destination and shipping method selected. (Business days do not include holidays or weekends). Shipping rates are calculated based on the destination and weight of the package, and are quoted in real time to you by FedEx.
- Next Business Day: Orders placed before 1 pm will ship the same day and are normally delivered the next business day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays).
- Saturday Delivery: This is a premium service offered by FedEx for packages that need to be delivered on the weekend. Orders must be placed by 1 pm on that Friday.
- Express: Once your order is shipped, it should be delivered within 2 - 3 business days
- Ground Shipping: May take up to 7 business days in transit (not including weekends or holidays).
A Cold Pack will provide up to 72 hours of temperature control during transit. If the temperature is above 75 degrees at your recipient's destination, please add a Cold Pack to your order. For destinations outside the New York tri-state area, please select an Express shipping option as well. This is necessary as Cold Packs only provide 72 hours of cold power. When the temperature is unusually hot, (i.e. above 90 degrees), we may have to hold your order until the weather cools down.
If you are looking to have chocolate delivered the same-day in New York City, you can order from one of our delivery partners for fast, reliable service. We partner with several professional delivery services including Uber Eats, Mercato, DoorDash, and shopIN.nyc. To place an order for same-day delivery, please order directly through one of these partner sites. Someone must be available to receive the delivery when it arrives, otherwise your package will be returned, and a re-delivery fee will apply.
We ship worldwide via FedEx and USPS Priority and Express Mail International. Depending on the destination, most packages will be delivered within 1-2 weeks. Because all packages are subject to International Customs, there is no delivery time available for international shipments. Deliveries can sometimes take several weeks or months. For International parcels, the recipient will be responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by the importing country (which are collected C.O.D. upon delivery). If you are sending a gift overseas, please take these factors into consideration. Unfortunately, we are unable to take responsibility for international parcels once they leave our facility. We do not offer refunds for chocolate that is lost, damaged or delayed by International Customs or the local country's delivery service.
Fed Ex Delivery Guidelines
No Signature Required
All orders are shipped "No Signature Required". Packages will be left at the residential doorstep as per FedEx policy. If you are sending a gift, please let your recipient know a package is on its way. We cannot assume responsibility for packages that are lost, damaged or stolen after FedEx has confirmed delivery.
If you need 'Signature Required' service, please call and we can add that to your order. This is a premium service by FedEx and there is an additional charge of $15.00.
Three Delivery Attempts
If a package cannot be left at the residential doorstep and no one is available to accept it, FedEx will make a total of 3 attempts to re-deliver the package. FedEx may also contact the customer using the phone number provided on the order to make delivery arrangements. After 3 attempts, if the package cannot be delivered it will be returned to us. We do not offer refunds for packages that are returned, and if you would like us to re-send the package, an additional shipping charge will apply.
Our website uses real-time address verification during the checkout process. When you enter a shipping address, our address verification system checks the information using the USPS address matching system. If there is no match, it displays an alternative verified shipping address. The system will prompt you to review the address before the order is completed.
If you need to provide an address correction after your order has shipped, we can submit a request to FedEx for an additional $17.00. Address corrections are time sensitive so please contact us at email@example.com as soon as possible.
If the address you provided is not a complete or valid address, FedEx will attempt to correct the address and deliver the package. If FedEx is successful in correcting the address and delivering the package, they charge an additional $17.00 for this address correction service. When this occurs, we pass this $17.00 charge onto you using the same credit card you used to place your original order with. We will send you an email if that occurs. By using our shipping services, you agree to this charge.
Unfortunately, we cannot assume responsibility for delays experienced by shipping carriers due to weather, high volume, or other unforeseen issues. All shipping times are provided as estimates. We are unable to offer refunds for those reasons.
New York State sales tax is charged on all orders shipped to addresses within New York State. Sales tax applies to merchandise as well as to shipping charges. Sales tax on shipping is non-refundable.
